  1. This plot line has the potential to become a great compelling movie. The concept of a young child discovering the horrible death of his parents and eventually succumbing to the same drug is a perfect story of irony and works well to show the ways children will follow their parents. A climax could easily be established for this movie, which will help the audience understand the struggles the main character has to face when his/her parents die. I also enjoy the resolution of the movie from the climax, which ties well with the emotional content for the audience to be able to understand the morale of the movie. Therefore, the movie will not simply revolve around the death of a family by drugs. “You are lucky to be alive” would be an appropriate morale of this movie, as this is the main purpose of this movie. On the other hand, it would help if you could arrange all your ideas into a two column script for your intents of this movie to be shown. Great idea!

  2. I believe this has a very good foundation for a film and is very dramatic. It might be a little cliche and some of the themes might be a little hardcore for a junior film class. Mr. Bigue might not approve of some of the ideas, but it can morphed into a very good film with a very good lesson at the end. Some of the shots might be hard to produce too but if you can do it, go ahead. It sounds like a good idea.

  3. A dark and depressing story that unfortunately has been told often... kind of hard to tell the story in a short film and have us really care for the main character. What direction could you take this that might be unpredictable?
